I do not have any version of VS currently installed on my Windows Vista computer except the Trial version already mentioned, which of course I can no longer use. My question is: which version of the VS 2008 Pro edition should I buy to do this "upgrade" from the Trial to the permanent edition? Must I purchase the full VS 2008 Pro edition (costs about $US1000) or can I get away with just buying the upgrade version of VS 2008 Pro (about $US700). In the Visual Studio 2008 Maintenance Mode dialog box, enter the product key in the section Upgrade to Visual Studio 2008 and then click Upgrade. This displays the Visual Studio 2008 Maintenance Mode dialog box.Ĥ. In Windows Vista, click Uninstall/Change. Select Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition. In Windows XP, open Control Panel and click Add or Remove Programs. In Windows Vista, open Control Panel and click Programs and Features. The product key is listed on the sleeve of the DVD or CD
